The Challenge

Developing a highly performant, photorealistic 3D environment that embeds a fully functional 2D React application inside a virtual monitor, while passing mouse and keyboard events seamlessly between the 3D canvas and the 2D iframe.

Technical Solution

Utilized 4K baked textures for photorealistic lighting without real-time performance penalties. Implemented complex event propagation to map 3D raycaster interactions into 2D DOM events within the iframe. Added atmospheric spatial audio for immersion.
